The Waterloo road star and his pro partner were sent home after facing the dance off against Angela Rippon
Strictly Come Dancing's Luba Mushtuk has shared her love for Adam Thomas in a public message after the pair were eliminated from the BBC dance contest. Adam, who reprised his role as Donte Charles in Waterloo Road, became the sixth star to lose his place in the competition after his dance off with Angela Rippon.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood said it was a 'tough' decision as he felt both celebrities had improved in the dance-off, but said he wanted to save Angela and Kai based on 'technique alone'. After their fate was revealed, Adam told viewers how he never expected to get this far in the competition, and credited his dance partner Luba for all her support.
Sharing a series of photos with her 98,000 followers, Luba wrote: "The best part of it all … Is THEM. It’s not about winning but about getting out there and giving your best , and I believe @adamthomas21 and I did that .So many ups and downs we had each day and we got through it together . I’m so proud of us and so proud of you and the progress that you’ve made @adamthomas21 as a dancer, contender and your personal growth .
The professional dancer, 33, then added: "You @adamthomas21 are MY forever winner in life and that’s much more important than any trophy . Dancing with you will definitely be the part that I will miss the most but I’m sure we will dance again. I love you. I will always be here for you . And I will always have your back."
