The ITV Dancing On Ice judge recently welcomed a baby daughter
Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse has revealed that she wants to expand her family further after welcoming her firstborn. Back in December, the former BBC dancing show professional, 33, welcomed a baby daughter.
Doctors also discovered after the birth that her daughter had an infection, meaning the first-time mum was heartbreakingly unable to hold her for a week due to being in intensive care. Despite the traumatic series of events, she told The Times that she is definitely open to adding to her family.When quizzed she said that she would have, “As many as I can afford". Before recalling what she had been through claiming that it had only made her “stronger”.
She continued: “This industry has its ups and downs but I love it and I'm doing it all for my baby and my husband.” The ITV judge, who starred on Dancing On Ice claimed that she was “The breadwinner” and said she wanted to be the one who takes care of her family. Despite the baby, whose name has remained private, Oti’s sepsis was discovered after she had passed on to her unborn daughter. "I remember crying because I couldn't get the wheelchair close to her bed. Emotionally it was very exhausting. I didn't get to hold her for about a week,” she said.
