Pete Wicks has seemingly revealed the real reason he and Jowita Przystal had a 'tough' week in Strictly Come Dancing training before confirming a 'special' move for the pair after they made it through to another week in the competition.
Dressed as the late Freddie Mercury for the show's first-ever 'Icons Week', former The Only Way is Essex star Pete performed to a salsa to Queen's Another One Bites the Dust alongside his dance partner.After their salsa, Pete, who could be heard repeatedly telling dance partner Jowita "I’m sorry" to which she replied "it’s ok". But soon after they landed at the bottom of the leaderboard with 22 out of a possible 40 points.
During a chat with his best mate and co-host Sam Thompson on their Staying Relevant podcast, which came ahead of his latest performance, Pete said: "We’ve had a tough week because Jowita has been working with an injury, she got whiplash on Monday. Sam was quick to support his friend and shared his thoughts that Pete should be scoring higher than he has been. The I'm A Celebrity winner said: "If I look at the numbers, Pete’s Halloween joker dance is the most liked on Youtube, he got a 31 which is still a brilliant score, but there were 9’s flying around for other people and I was so impressed by this dance that I think it should have scored higher.
