Last year's glitterball trophy was lifted by Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, although the season wasn't without controversy due to Amanda Abbington's comments on Giovanni Pernice's rigorous training methods, reports the Mirror.
However, eagle-eyed fans will spot that Giovanni Pernice is conspicuously absent from the list. It has now been officially stated that he will not be part of the upcoming series, following allegations by Amanda that he was "nasty and awful".
