Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott was forced to leave rehearsals early as she rushed to hospital after learning her boyfriend required medical attention over concerns about his kidneys.
Speaking on his podcast, Staying Relevant with co-host Pete Wicks, the 31-year-old radio presenter opened up about his fears that he was suffering with kidney disease after experiencing severe pain in his abdomen. Fortunately, the doctors told Sam that he was in good health and he was discharged with the all-clear.
He told OK! at the time: 'She slid into my DMs. It was great and I'm glad she did. I don't want to say too much, but we've been on a few dates, it's been a few weeks now."
