Strictly stars and crew want Anton Du Beke to replace Darcey Bussell as judge after her exit
The publication claims that Anton had actually auditioned to be a judge when Len Goodman stepped down from the show, but the spot was given to Shirley Ballas instead.
‘He’s often placed with the novelty act and has no chance of getting near the Glitter Ball. He isn’t a real contender anymore,’ they said. Darcey said in a statement on Wednesday: ‘It has been a complete privilege for me to be part of Strictly, working with such a talented team.
