The Glitterball winner told the ECHO why he has decided to raise a family in Merseyside as his new show comes to the Liverpool Empire
Strictly Come Dancing 's Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley decided within seconds they were going to move to Liverpool.
However, the family knew they had to make the move a reality the moment they set eyes on their new home in Merseyside. He told the ECHO: "Stacey loves looking at houses on the internet. Looking at interiors and stuff is her favourite thing to do. "It's a feelgood energetic show and the audiences enjoy themselves anyway so I think when we get to Liverpool, we're going to take the roof off. That's why I think this show is going to be special. Usually Stacey would come on one of the first couple of weeks but she's waiting to come in Liverpool, bring some friends and her mum's side of the family."
Kevin was hoping to have a break from work when he finished touring Strictly Ballroom last year - but said the opportunity to be a part of Everybody's Talking About Jamie was too good to turn down. He said: "It's one of them shows that means so much to loads of people. "I love acting and singing, I can't see myself going back on the show at this point but never say never. I could maybe be a judge."
