Strong currents caused by Typhoon EgayPH and heavy monsoon rains damaged a portion of Camiling River’s slope protection in Tarlac on Friday, the DPWH-RO3 reported.
“Affected residents have been advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions, particularly during heavy rainfall, to ensure their safety. The DPWH is actively working to address the issue and restore the slope protection to its proper functionality,” the DPWH RO3 said.In Pampanga, two roads remain impassable to all types of vehicles due to a meter-deep flood.
Some portions of Apalit-Macabebe-Masantol Road, Santo Tomas-Minalin Road, San Simon section of the Tulauc-Santo Domingo Road are still inundated with up to 35-centimeter deep floodwater and can be accessed only by heavy vehicles like dump trucks.Your subscription has been successful.
