Acting Deputy World News EditorAt least two people have been killed in twin shootings in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, police have said.
A 39-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man who taught at the Erasmus University hospital were killed, according to the local police chief, Fred Westerbeke. The 14-year-old daughter of the woman was also shot and is seriously injured. A 32-year-old man was arrested on the hospital’s helipad, police said. The suspect’s identity was not released.
