The lawsuit alleges the order and subsequent university actions, such as incorporating a broad definition of antisemitism into campus policies, unconstitutionally restrict the plaintiffs' ability to engage in pro-Palestinian activism and criticism of Israel."Governor Abbott has made repeatedly clear he views persons and groups like Plaintiffs and their members as legitimate targets of suppression," the lawsuit states.
