QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute’s Dr Penny Webb says an investigation showed women who took aspirin had a 35 per cent better survival outcome than the ones who didn’t.

“That would translate to about an increase of two and a half months

survival on average by five years,” Dr Webb told Sky News Australia.
