Scientists have shared a new study revealing the best exercise to improve sleep for people with sleep disorders. The exercise beat walking, aerobics, and resistance training.

A new study has found that one form of exercise is the most effective for improving sleep in individuals with sleep disorders. The 2025 research, titled ‘Which exercise prescription is most effective for patients with sleep disorders?’, consisted of 30 randomised trials involving 2,576 subjects of all ages from different countries. It looked at how different forms of exercise impacted their quality of sleep The exercise that came out on top, you ask? Yoga.
