To celebrate its first anniversary, the Re.Uniqlo Studio introduces an embroidery service, helping shoppers customize their pieces and conceal imperfections in their older purchases. This on-site service features over 80 design options, including text, characters, and seasonal-themed designs to adorn clothes or cover small to medium holes.“The overall Re.
To further promote its message of sustainable style, the brand also tapped Jessie Jiang, founder of the circular fashion start-up Basically Borrowed, to discuss mindful fashion at a clothing swap party. Basically Borrowed aims “to create an infinite closet for everyone by re-circulating fashion as efficiently as possible.”
“Re.Uniqlo’s initiatives are commendable,” Jessie says. “It’s inspiring to see a brand so dedicated to making a positive impact on both the environment and our communities.” Re.Uniqlo Studio accepts both old and new LifeWear items for embroidery. Aside from tops, bottoms, and even bags, you can check the full list of eligible items at the counter in the brand’s Manila flagship store. The price per icon/design is fixed at P250, while the cost for text varies depending on size and character length. Small and medium sizes with three to five letters are priced at P200, six to 10 letters at P250, and large sizes also at P250.
