Subaru halting all of Japan production for almost a week. Subaru CarGuidePH
Subaru is temporarily halting all production at its automobile manufacturing facilities in Japan due to interruptions in the supply of parts.
The interruptions, brought on by the rise once more in COVID-19 cases at various parts suppliers has forced Subaru to halt production at its Gunma and Yajima assembly plants as well as its engine and transmission plant in Oizumi. The stoppage, Subaru says, will last for around six days. This will cause some delay in the delivery of completed vehicles as well as accessories to customers not just in Japan, but globally as well.
In addition, due to production delays in some accessories, we may suspend your order, or we may not be able to install it at the time of delivery, and it may take a certain period of time.We will endeavor to deliver it as soon as possible, and we appreciate your understanding.
