Subway and train services will be disrupted on Sunday.
ScotRail customers have been warned to expect significant disruption during the latest strike action by Network Rail staff which will take place on Saturday . The vast majority of services will be unable to run due to safety-critical workers taking part in the action.
A free shuttle bus service will be running between Partick and Govan only during operating hours at Stance 1 in Govan and stance 2 in Partick. "This additional time the closures give the Subway Joint Venture , contracted to deliver the Subway modernisation programme, will progress the installation of our new signalling and communication systems for the new trains. This work involves laying cables between stations and then mounting them onto brackets within the tunnels.
David Simpson, ScotRail Service Delivery Director, commented: "Once again, it’s really disappointing to see the dispute between Network Rail and the RMT result in more widespread disruption across the whole Great Britain rail network at a time when we need to be encouraging more people back to the railway.
