Tensions were high as Sue Radford made a huge value purchase without informing husband Noel as she proved 'I'm the boss of the house' and the 'one with the power'
Sue was quick to hit back: “Noel likes to think he’s got the power, but I’m the one with the power in this house, definitely.” Sue's desire to buy a motorhome came after the family went on a motorhome holiday to Scotland last year. She said that the purchase would be good for her whole family. “But we sold it to go on holidays abroad. But Noel didn’t really want to get another one as he didn’t like towing it. So this is a perfect solution - he doesn‘t have to tow it, he just has to drive it.Noel was not persuaded by Sue’s attempts and said: “I think the last thing we need is a motorhome, we’ve got enough on our plate. Sue’s always coming up with ideas, but this one, just not happening. No way.
Once she arrived, Sue found the 'motorhome of dreams' and decided to buy it without getting Noel's approval. Noel was at home with the kids when Sue drove the motorhome back, leaving Noel in disbelief. Looking out of the window, Noel said: “What the hell? That’s not mum is it? Is that your mother? What is that out there? I presume you bought it home just to show us?”
