I'm definitely not ready to talk about that until we officially get greenlit, but was an amazing experience. I love to work with Stephen, I love the whole cast, the crew, and I think the script's great, and I'm hearing good things. But there's still a long time, and I don't want to go there before if there's nowhere to go to.
At first glance, the idea of Suits: LA featuring a new mentor and protégé relationship between Amell’s Ted Black and Greenberg’s Rick Dodson immediately recalls the bond forged between the original show’s leads. While later seasons would increasingly put greater emphasis on Harvey Specter and Mike Ross’s various colleagues, their relationship was the undisputed heart of the original Suits.
However, with the Suits: LA story details that have already been released, it seems that Ted and Rick may find themselves in inverted circumstances compared to Harvey and Mike. Per the show’s official synopsis, Suits: LA will begin with Black and his law firm facing a major crisis, with Amell’s character being forced to “embrace a role he held in contempt.
