The new season of LoveIsland could be just weeks away
has become a seasonal staple. In fact, no summer is quite complete without watching a group of singletons crack on with one another in an attempt to find long-lasting love.
But luckily for viewers, they don’t have long to wait before a whole new host of singletons enter the Love Island villa for a brand new series. While the special winter edition of the show may have only just come to an end a matter of months agoSo, from the potential start date to potential contestants, let’s take a peek at what we know about the new series so far…
While the start date of the new series is yet to be confirmed, Love Island typically kicks off at the beginning of June. For instance, last year’s series began on 6 June, so this year it’s likely to resume at a similar time. According to reports, viewers can expect the 2023 series to hit their screens on 5 June, meaning that its launch date is just weeks away. Speaking to, a source said: “Love Island will start on June 5, just as people are getting ready to enjoy their summers.” Once on our screens, it’s likely that the series will last for eight weeks, as is the normal duration of the show.
