The youngsters doused Kenny Trevino on Tuesday night to celebrate his first win as a Summer League coach.
LAS VEGAS – Spurs rookies Stephon Castle and Harrison Ingram are ready to get their feet wet in Las Vegas after drenching Kenny Trevino in Sacramento . In lieu of using adult beverages, Castle and Ingram joined their teammates in dousing Trevino with water after their 89-67 victory over China on Tuesday night to celebrate the Spurs video coordinator’s first Summer League coaching victory. “He’s been super cool ever since I first got to San Antonio ,” Castle, 19, said of Trevino.
Williams, a 22-year-old Houston native, and Hodge were NBA rookies last season. It should benefit Castle to have experienced players to work with as he looks to improve his decision-making as a point guard. Williams played in two games last season for Atlanta after going undrafted out of Nevada-Las Vegas following two seasons at Texas. Hodge, 25, played in seven games last season for the Lakers after going undrafted out of Missouri following two years at Cleveland State.
