Leeds United saw off Huddersfield Town in emphatic fashion on Saturday as they claimed the West Yorkshire derby bragging rights with a 4-1 win.Summerville's first-half brace makes him Leeds United's top marksman for the season with six so far and he was just too much for Huddersfield Town to handle. The Dutchman, returning to the starting XI after being rested in midweek, was electric from the start of the game as he gave Huddersfield’s lacklustre backline all sorts of problems.
Huddersfield’s defence simply didn’t have the answers to deal with him and shut off his supply. It’s clear, then, that James has a place in Leeds’ best XI at present and that’s not something that could have been said a few weeks back.The Terriers were simply awful in the first half as they gave Summerville, James and Georginio Rutter the freedom of Elland Road and allowed the trio to run riot.
