A weekly event is creating a community hub for Preston's hospitality and retail workers 🥂

A weekly event is creating a community hub for Preston’s hospitality and retail workers.

The Sunday Service at Revolution in Fishergate offers 50 per cent of all food and drink at the ‘for the industry by the industry’ event. Some of the Revolution Preston team Organiser Jack Page said: “Workers just need to come in, let us know who they are and where they work – if they have proof such as a payslip or copy of a rota, that’s ace – and we can provide them with a Sunday Service card that they can flash at the bar to show they’re part of the club.

“We’re aiming to create a community for the hardworking hospitality and retail staff and provide them with an incredible discount so they can relax on a Sunday and unwind a little from their busy weeks, without breaking the bank. “The aim is to also create a bit of a hub here every Sunday, where people can meet up and get to know each other away from their usual work settings.”In keeping with the theme of local support, the Sunday Service branding was designed by Secret Industries, a popular local designer who has been involved in various Preston projects.
