Sunny and quite warm today with lower humidity moving in

Temperatures soared into the 90s Monday afternoon.A brief weather change will move in today - lower humidity! This will be a refreshing change, given that it’s been so muggy lately. Meanwhile, it will be sunny and very warm with a high in the upper 80s to near 90.
The temporary drop in humidity will be short-lived as moisture quickly returns Wednesday. This could lead to a few isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Some of those storms could be severe. Another chance of isolated storms returns Thursday as a cold front approaches.Late this week a springtime cold front will drop highs into the 70s and lows into the 50s and 60s. This cool down will happen just in time for the Mother’s Day holiday weekend.
