A ‘super-aggressive’ alligator was euthanized after it tapped its snout against a homeowners window, leaving her fearful he was trying to break in.
The 8-foot reptile appeared outside Donna Heiss’ home in Flager County, Florida, Thursday, and got on its hind legs to climb up onto a windowsill and look inside.A second video, also shot by Heiss, showed the gator standing outside a patio door – and tapping its nose against the door in an apparent bid to see if it could get inside.The concerned homeowner can be heard to say ‘No,’ with the alligator beginning to walk out-of-shot again moments later.
Donna Heiss feared for her life after a ‘peeping tom’ alligator showed up at her house – and began banging its snout on her glazed patio door in an apparent attempt to get inside : ‘My glass door and picture window is all scratched up from the banging which could have shattered at any moment,Heiss promptly called a trapper, who killed the alligator over fears its aggressive behavior would lead to an attack on local people or pets.
April is alligator mating season, with the animals often found in unexpected places as they try to find a mate.
