After Spring Grove Area School District 's superintendent was found driving under the influence at the end of June, charging documents obtained by CBS 21 are revealing new information about that night.
Joseph Bradley, 51, who officially started as the District's new superintendent on July 1, was allegedly found slumped over his steering wheel by a patrolling officer around 2:38 a.m. on June 28.Police reported Bradley's eyes were bloodshot and the inside of the vehicle smelled strongly of "intoxicants."Police had Bradley perform a sobriety test, after which they placed him under arrest.
A sample of his breathing found his blood alcohol content to be .193%, charging documents claim, twice the legal limit of .08%. Bradley was subsequently charged with DUI. He released a statement on the District's website on July 3 addressing the charge, which can be read
