Superman director James Gunn has confirmed who the villain of the upcoming DC Universe movie is and has provided a bit of a progress update.
bluntly stated that the lead protagonist of the movie is Superman and the main antagonist is Lex Luthor, then reminded his followers to only believe information coming from him.
Gunn also gave a progress update for the film, estimating that it’s at approximately 18% completion and that he can’t wait to show it to everyone. “Superman tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas,” reads’s official synopsis. “He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”.
