“This is because Australia is looking to phase out caged eggs altogether and bring in free-range only on our supermarket shelves.
“So, just now as it, as it stands, right now, caged eggs make up 33 per cent of all supermarket sales.”Journalist Susie O’Brien told Sunrise host Nat Barr that she would still pay for free-range eggs, even if prices hit $15 a dozen.
