Bossa Studios is closing the Surgeon Simulator 2 servers soon, and while some Xbox achievements are at risk, the developer does say an offline patch is coming.
Three Surgeon Simulator 2 achievements are balancing on the edge of a scalpel, as developer Bossa Studios has announced it is shutting down the Surgeon Simulator 2 servers on September 17. While that would usually spell doom for any online achievements, Bossa has confirmed that an offline mode will be coming to the game, which could save its list from an amputation. ' Surgeon Simulator 2 currently has three online-only achievements: Ace Doctor , Surgical Prodigy , and the hardest of them all, Unstoppable Surgeon, which requires winning ten multiplayer matches in a row. At this stage, it's unclear if they will be saved with the offline patch set to be added on the day of the server closure. We've reached out to Bossa for further clarification.
