Katie Holmes was surprised by her daughter Suri Noelle with a happy birthday serenade backstage at the Barrymore Theatre in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday. Suri, an 18-year-old freshman at Carnegie Mellon University, sang the birthday song alongside the cast and crew. This isn't the first time Suri has showcased her singing talent for her mother. She previously lent her voice to songs for Katie's directorial films, 'Alone Together' in 2022 and 'Rare Objects' in 2023.
Suri traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to see her mother in 'Our Town' and gifted her with a beautiful bouquet of purple roses. Katie Holmes expressed her gratitude for her daughter and the thoughtful gesture on Instagram. The actress also shared her enjoyment of homemade treats prepared by her co-star Bobby Daye.
