Almost a year after demolition worker Wilson Ortega was trapped in a collapsed building in Boston, losing both his legs, he expressed his gratitude to the paramedics who rescued him.
Paramedic Jason Yutkins said the language barrier was a hurdle, but they did their best to relieve his pain and assure Ortega he would make it through this.
. Wednesday, he was reunited with the first responders who helped him at a Red Cross event honoring their heroism.

Coast Guard to Investigate Fire on Spirit of BostonThe Coast Guard has initiated an investigation into a fire that damaged a harbor cruise vessel docked in Boston. The Coast Guard said Tuesday that no one was on board the 153-foot Spirit of Boston when it caught fire late Friday night while it was moored at Commonwealth Pier in Boston’s Seaport District.
