The event left tourists struggling to breathe in pitch-black conditions as strong currents swept through the vessel.
One tourist, thought to be British, stated that the boat tilted sharply almost immediately, with screams heard from trapped individuals unable to exit their cabins due to closed doors and flooding. Eyewitnesses and crew members reported the sudden nature of the wave and their efforts to alert passengers, but the quick capsize left little time to react. As of now, 31 individuals have been rescued with no major injuries reported, though nine remain missing
