Susan's been enjoying the perks of fame.
Susan Boyle has revealed how worldwide fame has sparked some bizarre fan encounters over the years, including some positive perks in the love life department.
The 58-year-old Scottish singer became an overnight sensation on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009, and has since gone onto have chart-topping success around the globe. Susan isn’t letting her fame pass her by, however, stating how she once even dated a doctor fan she met in Florida while on her travels.
Asked about her favourite encounters with fans, Susan said: ‘There have been so many and all are special. I’ve been proposed to in Japan, met inspirational people along the way, gone on a date with a doctor I met in Florida.‘They are all wonderful encounters. I also have the most generous fans who spoil me with gifts.Speaking about her fans, she added: ‘I don’t need to say I’m lonely anymore and I can’t say I’m unloved anymore as I’m not.
