Meek housewife Thelma joins her friend Louise, an independent waitress, on a short fishing trip. However, their trip becomes a flight from the law when Louise shoots and kills a man who tries to rape Thelma at a bar.
Thelma & Louise stars Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis enjoyed a happy reunion while attending 90s Con in Connecticut together on Sunday.
Sarandon and Davis were pictured speaking on a panel and sitting side by side, 33 years after they starred in Ridley Scott's classic 1991 feminist road movie together The event kicked off on Friday, before wrapping up on Sunday. 90s Con was co-founded by Christina Figliolia and Liliana Kligman This year, a number of cast members from iconic shows were reunited, including 7th Heaven, Boy Meets World, Dawson’s Creek, Hey Dude, Full House, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Step by Step.
