Susanna Reid has announced she is taking a temporary break from presenting duties on Good Morning Britain but will be returning to the show next year
Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has announced live on air that Wednesday 11 December is her last day on the show, but that she will be back after the Christmas break. While celebrating the success of the 1 Million Minutes campaign on the show, she confirmed to viewers it was her last day in the studio, saying: “It’s my last day, and we’ve achieved a new record.”
On Wednesday, Susanna was celebrating as this year's campaign hit a new record of 124 million minutes donated. She said: "Right, ending on a positive note, our amazing 1 Million Minutes campaign. I just want to say thank you to everybody who has pledged their minutes and added to that campaign.
The 59 year old has been critical of Meghan and Prince Harry since they stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family, but his debate with Alex saw him temporarily leave GMB.
