Susanna Reid's age has come into question as she sent fans wild with her 'new term' look as she returns to Good Morning Britain. as she headed off on her annual summer break. But it wasn't just 'back to school' on Monday as Susanna was back fronting GMB with Ed Balls.
It also marks the return of a number of other ITV stars as Lorraine Kelly is due back on her self-titled show following her epic summer break while Holly Willoughby will also return to This Morning. However, back to Susanna and all eyes were on the broadcaster as she debuted a new look. The 52-year-old took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday and showcased her new hairstyle ahead of returning to screens bright and early this morning .In the snap, the long-serving show anchor has swapped her glossy dark hair for a short bob with blonde highlights. She captioned the post: "NEW TERM - NEW TRIM!" She added: "Back @gmb tomorrow with @edballs. Looking forward to seeing you from 6 am." And the compliments soon came flooding in. @chrisgolds said: "Yasssssss queen! Fabulous." @skylight21_1 commented: "Hope you enjoyed your summer holidays - looks good and suits you!" @SteveSpeirs4 wrote: "You’re ageing backwards Reid!" @AndyRice6 replied: "She’s going to be a teenager soon. And Lorraine herself also questioned Susanna's age as she reshared her ITV co-star's post and wrote on X: "Gorgeous! Looking about 21 years old." Susanna last appeared on social media last month when she paid a heartbreaking tribute following the death of a friend and recent GMB guest. In July, Susanna was seen fighting back tears on the ITV news programme when cancer campaigner Suki Thompson appeared via video link. Suki had been diagnosed with cancer four times during the past 15 years and had been actively raising awareness about the disease over the past few years, specifically around skin cancer following her incurable diagnosis. Susanna then confirmed that Suki had passed away on July 30 - 11 days after she spoke to Susanna and co-host Martin Lewis on GMB. In a post shared on Instagram on August 15, Susanna paid tribute to her late friend after her death, sharing a picture from the order of service from her celebration of her life that took place recently. "Our beautiful friend Suki Thompson," she started the caption of her post. "The embodiment of strength & optimism. A passion for living life to the fullest," Susanna continued before adding: "Go well lovely." And the presenter was quickly flooded with messages from people offering their condolences including her GMB colleagues, celebrity pals and viewers.
