Suspect charged with stabbing man during home invasion in Lincoln Park

CHICAGO â A Chicago man was charged after stabbing another man multiple times during a home invasion in the Lincoln Park neighborhood Thursday night.Devion Deshaun Allen, 25, was arrested less than an hour after the incident in the 1900 block of N. Seminary Ave. He was charged with felony counts, including attempted first-degree murder, home invasion/causing injury, and aggravated battery/use of a deadly weapon.

The victim was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in fair condition. A neighbor said the incident was 'very disturbing' and 'somewhat surprising.''It's one thing to get robbed.
