A suspect is dead after a shooting involving a Harris County sheriff’s deputy Wednesday.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said it happened in the 3200 block of Palston Bend Lane in north Harris County .
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the incident started when deputies responded to reports of a man acting erratically. Callers said the man was standing in the street, stabbing himself with a knife, and rubbing blood on cars.Deputies told the man to drop the knife and tried to use less than lethal force to disarm him to no avail.units responded to an in-progress call at the 3200 blk of Palston Bend Ln.
