The prime suspect in the brutal murder of a Scottish nurse at a religious college in the US 34 years ago was accused of trying to cheat a lie detector test by using breathing techniques.
Michael Johnson, who was also a student at the seminary at the time, was identified as a suspect during the original investigation. Johnson, now 68, was Miss Mackintosh's supervisor for her cleaning duties at the college and the pair had an argument in the days before the killing. "When I see someone doing the things consistently during the course of recordings that I see coming from you, now this is purely opinion on my part because I can't read your mind or anyone else's.
