Officers searched a home after apprehending a man

At around 11.15am yesterday , Merseyside Police officers spotted a man on Oxford Road, Huyton. The man ran from police and dropped what was later identified as cannabis.

Officers apprehended the man and arrested him on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B cannabis. Police later searched a house in Huyton and found a substantial quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis, a hydraulic press, several mobile phones and vacuum sealer.David McLoughlin, 45 of York Road in Huyton was charged with possession with intent to sell cocaine and possession with intent to sell cannabis and producing a controlled drug.
