Police were called to Roe Greave at 8.15pm on December 26 and found the victim which facial injuries. He was taken to hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.Lancashire Constabulary said that a 53-year-old man was was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault later that day and has now confirmed that the name of the suspect. Jason Singleton, 53, of Commercial Street, Oswaldtwistle, has been charged with Section 18 wounding and criminal damage.
He appeared before Blackburn Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded into custody. Police are continuing to appeal for information and anyone who knows about what happened is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 1089 of December 26, 2022.
