Records allege that Garica beat Domenic for three weeks leading up to the death, eventually hitting the boy so hard he bounced off a wall, later dying as a result of the injuries. Garcia and Aguilar then traveled with the child's body to Colorado, where they buried the child in a ravine not far from their campsite.
