Man suffers injuries after substance causes 'burning sensation'
A man has suffered injuries to his arm and felt a burning sensation after a substance was 'thrown' onto him yesterday.
Both police and ambulance staff attended and the man was then taken to hospital for further treatment. He has since been discharged. The substance was of a corrosive nature. A further investigation is underway as the police attempt to establish how the substance got onto the man, as they do not believe it was thrown.This took place two hours before it was reported.
