Police presence noticed in road after 'paedophile hunters' sting
Passers-by noticed a crowd in the road, and it is believed that a “paedophile hunting” group had been carrying out a “sting”.understands another"sting" was carried out in Watford yesterday afternoon but that this was related to a separate individual. Update to follow.
According to CPS, the offence of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity covers situations where sexual activity itself does not take place. Non-penetrative activity carries a maximum sentence of 14 years imprisonment while a penetrative offence carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
