A family is raging after swear words were scratched onto their great-granddad’s car following a row over parking.
Johnny Lane, 84, had expletives scratched into his car whilst he took his great-grandchildren to Los Angeles
The 84-year-old has been left driving around with the swear words etched across his seven-seater Ford Galaxy since July as he cannot afford the £900 to fix it.ManchesterShe said: ‘When he parked there on the day they were flying to LA, he knocked on one of the houses and told the gentleman that the car was going to be there for three months and this gentleman said “absolutely, no problem”.
‘Then I couldn’t even move the car as the two back tyres were slashed and I didn’t want to cause any damage to the car.’Even a valet service was unsuccessful in trying to buff out the scratches The great-granddad, pictured here with his great-grandson Ashton Knights, 17, has no choice but to drive the damaged car
