Australian swimming chiefs are making their own inquiries after the World Anti-Doping Agency confirmed 23 Chinese swimmers tested positive for a banned drug before the Tokyo Olympics but accepted the nation’s findings of substance contamination. The swimmers reportedly tested positive for trimetazidine , which is found in heart medication, months before the pandemic-delayed Games began in the Japanese capital in July 2021.
