A SWIMMING pool was forced to shut for two days after poo was found in the water.
Dollan Aqua Centre in Lanarkshire, Scotland is now undergoing a deep clean after the "accidental faecal release".All swimming lessons and water-based fitness classes have been cancelled at the pool in East Kilbride, operated by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture.Posting on Facebook yesterday, leisure chiefs said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to close the pool."The pool will re-open on Thursday, April 18 at 7.30am.
"Aquafit class for Wednesday, April 17 at 12pm and 7.15pm are also cancelled. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
