The last minute change of venue has meant the band have reached an extraordinary milestone here in Manchester

Take That have broken a new record on home turf in Manchester - after their last minute gigs switch from Co-op Live to the AO Arena this week. Take That ’s huge This Life On Tour is in the middle of a five-night run at the venue, after they transferred their Manchester gigs to the AO Arena from Co-op Live, which has been hit by delays. The venue move meant on Saturday night there was extra cause for celebration for the band who reached the new milestone.

"Not only do we enjoy having the band here, we love hosting their fans and making every moment memorable." However Gary, Howard and Mark still have some way to go to beat the record of most amount of gigs ever booked at the AO Arena - as that honour still remains with comedy superstar Peter Kay. He is in the midst of a run of 40 nights at the venue on his new Better Late Than Never tour, and previous runs including 20 nights at the AO on the Tour That Doesn't Tour Tour.
