Takeoff's suspected shooter Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested last year in December and is now under house arrest.

The outlet reported that detectives claimed Clark, who was holding a wine bottle and a gun, fired the shots that killed the rapper. They also found his fingerprints on the wine bottle and officially identified him as the shooter.on December 2, 2022. They also learned that he had purchased plane tickets to Mexico two days before authorities apprehended him. Moreover, they found a massive stash of cash on the then-34-year-old at the time of his arrest.
