Russell Brand has been dropped by his talent agency, Tavistock Wood, following a string of allegations made against him – all of which he denies.
In a statement, the agency said: "Russell Brand categorically and vehemently denied the allegation made in 2020, but we now believe we were horribly misled by him. TW has terminated all professional ties to Brand."
Four women are alleged to have come forward with claims, with the incidents said to have taken place between 2006 and 2013. Last night the comedian shared a video statement denying 'criminal' and 'very serious' allegations, which he said had been put to him in the form of a letter and email from an unnamed television programme and newspaper.
