TAMZIN OUTHWAITE - who starred as Mel Owen on BBC soap Eastenders - has insisted she wasn't ready to leave her role as Mel Owen last year, after returning as her iconic character back in 2017.
The actress’ return to Walford was confirmed in October 2017 before her character's death in 2019.
