The Saints defender is confident his side can better their top six finish last season.
Scott Tanser believes this talented St Mirren squad are capable of changing Scottish football fans’ long-standing opinions about the Paisley club.
And now Saints defender Tanser is confident he and his team-mates can go one better by proving to the club’s doubters they can bring European football back to Paisley next season. “No one expects us to be up there. I think at the moment we’re flying against the odds but as a group we believe we should be up there.
While keeping pace with the Old Firm over the course of the entire season is a big ask, Tanser firmly believes St Mirren can improve on their sixth-placed finish last time around.
